Blood draws and other biologic specimens (urine, sputum) are collected by appointment starting at 8:30 AM every day.

After hours, and when the office is closed during the day, your urgent calls will be directed to a answering service. You will be asked to leave a message and a telephone number. They will then contact me and I will call you back. If you do not receive a return phone call promptly, please call back an leave a second message. If I am not on call, your message will be given to a covering physician.

Call during office hours, most requests can be handled swiftly over the phone with any of the medical assistants.

If you feel you have an emergency you need to call 911.

If your call is regarding a medical question or a refill, please give our staff a detailed message, most calls are returned at the end of the day. Please allow 24 hours for us to call in your refill.

Controlled medications (like pain killers and sleeping pills) are NOT REFILLED OVER THE PHONE, and we will require you to make an appointment and come in.

The office reads its email periodically. Email messages may not be read every day. You should be aware that information sent over the Internet can be read by many people. If you choose to send us an email, we will assume that you have given us permission to respond by email. We will use our discretion as to the type of information that will be included in our email response.
